I am certain we are all pretty much feeling the same way during this unprecedented time.
It's as if our world changed overnight a few weeks fact, that is exactly what happened.

But like everything in life, it's how we approach uncertain moments that will dictate how we come out of them.

By nature, I am a positive person. I also have to attest that my faith helps carry me in moments such as the one we are living.  But nonetheless we are all human and there are times we might feel a bit confused, unsettled, and yes, even overwhelmed.  I hope all of you are focusing on the things that help bring you comfort and peace during this time.

Here's a little list of some of the things that my family and I are doing and enjoying during this Stay at Home Order.

Decluttering and organizing : closets,  dresser drawers, kitchen cabinets

Organizing Home Office:  Shred old papers, tidy up desk, sift through files and re-organize

Garage:  Empty out; sweep and hose down garage floor, repaint walls if needed, organize contents on shelving, and declutter storage closets and bins.  Label products and toss anything outdated. Clean out outdoor refrigerator/freezer

Recreation & Exercise:

Take a drive down the coast and bring food that you can eat in your car with your family.

Family exercise in your family room:  Yoga, zumba, weights, cardio, circuit

Sit outdoor and use a star gazer app to find the stars and planets (one of our favorite things to do here in the suburbs where the stars and planets seem as though we can  actually touch them)

Play family board games, trivia games, and build puzzles

Watch movies on Demand
Watch your wedding video
Watch your kid's baby videos
Sing family Karaoke

Take an online water color class (one of our fav)
Sit in the backyard and hang out as a family
Play outdoor ping pong (another of our fav)
Read books (love it)
Engage in deep conversations about the current issue at hand with the family.  This opens up new perspective and we learn so much from one another.

I hope you can adopt one, two, or three of these ideas and enjoy them with your family as well.

Stay safe, Healthy, and STAY HOME!
