Decor Idea Wednesday: Lifestock feeder Troughs in Home Decor-

Leave it to me to see the decor potential
in a trough..yes, you heard correctly...a TROUGH!!
But, I'm happy to report that I am not the only one who
can see the beauty in a bowl that farm animals feed and drink from...Whew!
While browsing Pinterest, I came across a few pinners who shared
their trough decor ideas!  Thank goodness there are other people
just like me around when it comes to decor!
I would recommend  buying a new trough perhaps at a horse and feed store.
(They are costly, so make sure you price around for a good deal) just to ensure
your don't bring home some yucky bacteria or some other non welcoming germ...
You can always age the trough...the web is full of tutorials on how to age
galvanized steel.
Here are some pictures I found on Pinterest showing ways a lifestock trough
can be used in home decor!
I hope that you get inspired to think outside the box when it comes to decor!

Raised garden beds have many advantages, ranging from saving wear and tear on your back to giving your plants better air circulation and more sunlight. However, you don’t have to nail lengths of lumber together to make a raised garden bed. Some of the most attractive, easy-to-use raised beds are made from containers—and among the most versatile containers are galvanized steel troughs designed to hold water for farm animals. This is quite possibly my favorite of all...
The outdoor trough shower.  How perfect is this
for a beach or lake house. I assume a drainage system would
be necessary.

having an off the beat n path decor idea...Just turn to Pinterest, and
you too will realize you are not alone!
