Laundry Room Sanctuary: Yes, it's possible...

Let's get real, who really loves doing laundry anyway?
For me, it's not so much the washing part, after all, let's face it,
the machine does the washing...
For me, it's the sorting, folding, and putting away
that makes laundry such a chore!

Now that my laundry rant is complete,
I decided to use the "if you can't beat them join them"
philosophy, and make my laundry room a place that
makes me happy when I step foot inside.

So here is just a sneak peak at a corner of my
laundry room as I transform it from a place of dread
to somewhat of a laundry sanctuary...

I have to admit, folding is a lot less painful
in a beautiful setting...

I am obsessed with French wire baskets...the possibilities are endless this French basket (I own three of this particular design) is perfect for sorting dishtowels and even socks after the wash...

A motivating message on the Laundry Room Chalkboard
makes the "chore" a little less burdensome...

So there you have it, just a peak
of how this folding corner in my laundry room
has been transformed  from a place of dread to
somewhat of a sanctuary...

Happy Monday!

XX,

Betty

  1. Love the chalkboard adn message! These lovely touches to make a laundry room are charming. I especially like the wire basket.
