Kid's Memorial Day/Patriotic Table

I hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend.

Remembering and Thanking all of those who so valiantly have served our country and fought to protect our Freedom.

An American patriotic table, whether decorated for Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Veteran's Day is one of the most beautiful and bold tables to create due to the bright use of Primary Colors found on the American Flag.

Here, I have created a simple Memorial Day Kiddie Table.

If you notice, I didn't opt for plastic utensils as I wanted to keep the look somewhat cohesive with the adult table, so I went ahead and placed beautiful vintage silverware in patriotic buckets.
I alternated between Red and Blue Buckets to
keep up with the Red, White, and Blue theme...
The buckets served as the perfect lunch caddy.
Each bucket held a white linen napkin and set of vintage utensils wrapped together in a thin patriotic Red, White, and Blue Ribbon.  And of course, I couldn't forget "Old Glory," a small American Flag was tucked into the napkin as well.

 Milk Bottles...
Any chance I get to use my adorable milk bottles,
I get giggly.  I don't know what it is about these
cute little bottles, but they add a whimsical touch to
my table designs.  I don't limit these beauties to milk only..
Oh no, I use them for ice tea, lemonade, pink punch, and
the list goes on and on.  No matter the content inside, they are always a hit at my parties.

I paired each bottle with a swirly paper straw in coordinating patriotic colors.

The table runner, printed stars and stripes napkins,
and galvanized bucket are all pieces I already owned and have used in previous events.
You don't have to break your bank when designing new table decor for your gatherings.  I neatly store all of my party linens and table decor pieces in labeled boxes, and they are easily accessible for my next event time after time.

So, Don't be surprised if you see many of the pieces I used here in my 4th Of July Table...

And there you have it.  A Memorial Day Kiddie Table that will
make any little munchkin scream for "More Hot Dogs, Please!"
If you're wondering what the grown up table looked like... it was pretty much the same with the exception of the milk bottles. I used tall ice tea glasses for the grown up this time.
Remembering those who have given their lives for our country.
Memorial Day 2013

God Bless America!
